Nos 36 to 42 on Market Street in Appledore are probably early 19th century buildings. They are two storeys high, with one window each, and feature exposed frames, mostly retaining their glazing bars. The first-floor window of No 36 has been altered. The fronts of the buildings are rendered, with No 36 being whitened. All the listed buildings in Market Street form a group.
