Description

The garden wall, dating from around 1660 to 1670, is associated with the nearby house known as Great Potheridge. It is constructed of squared stone rubble and features a moulded stone coping. The wall surrounds three sides to the south and west of the house, being lower on its southern and eastern sections. It rises in a step to its full height at the left-hand (west) end, where it continues with rounded coping. There is a central opening in the southern stretch of the wall.
