Description
Little Webbery is a house dating from around 1830, constructed of stucco over slatestone rubble with a hipped Welsh slate roof and rendered brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a symmetrical three-window range. The front displays flat rendered arches over 20th-century French windows, which are flanked by 20th-century sashes, and over early 19th-century twelve-pane sashes on the first floor. The side walls also have similar early 19th-century sashes. The front and side walls are accented with raised storey bands and pilasters. At the rear, there is a similar arrangement of sashes and an early 19th-century pedimented doorcase that has been reset. Inside, the house features early 19th-century moulded cornices and panelled doors, a fireplace from around 1830 with roundels in the rear right room, and a dog-leg staircase with winders, stick balusters, and a wreathed handrail, although it includes some 20th-century joinery.
