Description

The buildings at 14 to 17 Myrtle Street are a row of four houses built in the late 18th or early 19th century. They are constructed with a stucco facade and stepped uphill. The roofs are slate. Nos. 14 and 15 have rusticated ground floors, with No. 15 featuring incised line ornament on the pilasters of the doorway. Nos. 16 and 17 have flat hoods supported by shaped brackets above their doorways. The windows are sash windows, now with side glazing bars only, though No. 14 retains exposed window frames. The front gardens have low rendered cills. The listed buildings in Myrtle Street form a group, contributing to group value.
