Description

No 8 and the County Library are located on The Quay in Appledore. The building dates from the 18th century or early 19th century and has been altered. It is two stories high and features three windows, including a wing set at the back of the garden. The structure is made of stone, with some parts rendered. Most windows are casement style, except for a two-light sash window on the first floor. The main part of the building, No 8, is set back and has casement windows on each floor, with an additional small casement window on the first floor above the garage. The County Library, which is a separate building, has one window on each floor, both two-light, with a stone structure and a rendered front. It also features a six-panel door with a fanlight to the left. All the listed buildings on The Quay are part of a group.
