Description

This is a mid-19th century house with a shop. It is located on High Street in Bideford, and is shown as number 71A on Ordnance Survey maps. The front of the building is solid and rendered, and the roof is not visible from the street. The house is three storeys high and has a two-window facade. The ground floor has been altered, but remnants of a late 19th century shop front remain, including an entablature and flanking consoles. Upper-storey windows have plain architraves and continued sills, and contain two-paned sashes. A plain parapet tops the building. The interior has not been inspected.
