Probably late C17 or C18, outbuilding remodelled late C20. Whitewashed rendered cob and stone ; corrugated iron roof, half-hipped at end of barn, hipped at end of outbuilding. Plan: The outbuilding is parallel to and in front of the house to the west, the barn at right angles to it adjoining at the north end. The conversion of the outbuilding to a social centre has involved repartitioning and new roof timbers but it remains important to the setting of the house. Exterior: 2 storey outbuilding with a modern doorway to right of centre and a large modern window to the right, 2 first floor loft loading doors converted to modern windows. The barn, which has a C20 rear lean-to, is single-storey with a large doorway on the front with a timber lintel and a blocked window to the right. Interior: Outbuildings modernized, barn has C19 or C20 roof trusses. Group value with chapel and farmhouse.
