  1. Late C18 or early C19 refronting of earlier building. Formerly one house; it was the Church House before 1442. 3 storeys and dormers. Fenestration 1:2. Welsh slate mansard roof with rendered and red brick stacks. Stucco with rusticated ground floor. Plain band at 1st floor level. Plinth. Cornice and blocking course. Recessed, architraved sash windows with glazing bars and 1st floor cornices. Dormers with arched heads and Gothick tracery. No 4, recessed round-arched doorway with radial fanlight and panelled door. No 6, modern shopfront. Former cottage at rear of No 6. Later C18. 2 storeys. Double fronted with 2 windows. Hipped Welsh slate roof. Coursed Devonian limestone rubble. Openings with timber lintols. 2 and 3 light mullioned casement windows with glazing bars. Boarded door (M Laithwaite).
