Description

Luggers is a house dating from the late 17th century, featuring rendered stone rubble walls and a hipped thatch roof. It has a rendered rubble axial stack with a brick shaft. The layout consists of a three-room plan, which may have originally included a passage between the central and right-hand rooms, with the central room heated by an axial fireplace. The exterior is two storeys high, with an asymmetrical front that has four windows, which are 20th-century casements with two, three, and four lights. There is a gabled porch from the early 20th century to the left of the centre, featuring a part glazed door. The interior was inaccessible during the survey, but it may contain original features such as a fireplace and ceiling beams.
