DITTISHAM SX86SE 11/251 Front garden boundary walls and gate-piers to east of bramble Torre House

GV II

Garden boundary walls and gate-piers. Probably C18. Local slate and limestone rubble with slate capping. The walls are about 3 metres high at the right hand side fronting the road and curved round the front of the garden where it is lower about 2 metres maximum. there are a pair of gate- piers at the centre of the front to the carriageway of dressed limestone rubble with plinths, concrete caps and reused finials which look like up- turned vases with balls on the top.
