Description

This chest tomb, located 8 metres south of the Church of St Leonard, dates from around 1670. It is constructed from slate rubble and features a large, weathered slate lid. The lid is adorned with an inscribed line border and an inscription in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs, commemorating John Hyne.
