Description

Ermewood House is a detached house currently operating as a hotel, built in the early 19th century. The exterior is stuccoed with slate hung end walls and features a slate roof with gabled ends and overhanging eaves. The building has a double depth plan and stands three storeys high with three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, while the ground floor has large tripartite sashes without glazing bars. The central entrance is an elliptically arched doorway with a semi-circular fanlight, a glazed door, and sidelights. There are chimney stacks at each end of the house.
