Description
Two pairs of gate piers and flanking walls are located immediately northeast of Flete Lodge, dating from around 1890. The structure features four granite ashlar piers that have fielded panel sides, moulded bases, and cornice caps, along with pulvinated friezes and ball finials. There are plain wrought iron gates for both the carriageway and pedestrians on either side. The flanking quadrant walls are topped with moulded granite coping and square terminal piers, with the wall and terminal pier at the eastern end being lower than the others.
