Description

The Firs is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is constructed of plastered cob and features an asbestos slate half-hipped roof that was originally thatched. It stands two storeys tall and has a range of four windows.

The windows are late 18th century or early 19th century two and three-light casements with leaded panes. There are two doorways located to the right or center; one has a plank door while the other is glazed and features a corrugated iron hood. A rendered chimney stack is located at the south gable end, and there is an external stone stack on the rear wall. The house is positioned at right angles to the road.
