Description

The garden wall immediately southeast and south of Carswell is a boundary wall dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of tall slate rubble, reaching approximately 5 metres high, and features large slate coping stones. The wall encloses a rectangular front garden on two sides. In the southern section, there are squat gate piers with flanking walls that ramp up to the full height on either side.
