Description

This is a late 18th-century headstone located approximately 12 metres south of the Church of St Leonard in Halwell. The headstone is made of slate and features a shouldered head with an incised border on the front. At the top, there is an angel flanked by two stars. The inscription is in upper and lower case lettering with serifs, commemorating John Cockram, who died in 1789.
