Description

This is a late 18th-century headstone located about 1.5 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew in East Allington. The headstone is made of slate and features a shouldered shaped head that includes an oval and a star, along with a low relief carved border. The inscription is in upper and lower case lettering with serifs, commemorating Rebekah Burner, who died in 1774.
