Description

Two adjoining barns, dating from the 18th century, are located approximately 120 metres south-east of Old Newnham. They are constructed from stone rubble with granite quoins and feature slate half-hipped roofs. The barns are positioned at right angles to each other, creating an L-plan layout. The south-west barn is built into the bank and includes cow houses beneath a large hay loft, which has barn doors on the south side along with a slated canopy.
