Description

Gellerd headstone, located about 13 metres south-southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew, is a late 18th-century headstone. It is made of broad slate and features a pair of segmental heads, which are carved with a wavy border and stylised flowers along the side borders. The inscription is in upper and lower case lettering with serifs, commemorating John Gellard, who died in 1791.
