Description
67 and 67A High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the mid-19th century. The front is solidly rendered, and the roof is not visible from the street. There are red brick chimneys on each side wall. The building has three storeys and features a three-window range. The shop front is in a late 20th-century style. The middle window on the second storey has a beaded surround and a dentilled cornice on a console. The other windows have bolection-moulded architraves, with those on the third storey featuring bracketed cills. The windows in both upper storeys are two-light wood casements, each light having rounded top corners. There are rusticated pilaster-strips at each end of the front and a bracketed eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have a substantial staircase with barley-sugar balusters.
