Description

The Black Horse Inn is a public house, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of rendered rubble and cob, topped with a slate roof that has gable ends. The building has an L-shaped plan and features a three-window range of timber sashes with glazing bars and stone sills on each floor, along with an offset 20th-century door towards the lower end. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension at the right gable end. Inside, there are stopped and chamfered beams in the room below the axial stack, although the interior has been significantly altered. The building is included for its group value.
