CHITTLEHAMPTON SS 62 SE

4/118 Bank barn circa 20 metres west of - and on opposite side of road to Oldridge Farmhouse GV II Bank barn. Probably early C19. Unrendered stone rubble with some cob. Hipped slate roof, lower ridge level to left end. Bank barn rectangular on plan, with shippons to front and first floor access to rear cart entrance. Winnowing door with small 2-light window at right end above formerly symmetrical arrangement of 2-plank doors flanked by window openings, the right end window enlarged to wide segmental stone arched opening. Double plank doors to rear cart entrance. Loft door over plank door with window opening to left to range with lower ridge level at left end.
