Description
The practice rocket wall, also known as the practice rocket range, is situated to the west of the center of Braunton Burrows, approximately 45 meters from a former military track known as ‘H’ Lane. The structure is oriented north to south, with its main face facing east. It is made of shuttered concrete reinforced with steel bars, measuring 30.5 meters (100 feet) in length, 2 meters high, and about 2 meters deep. The east face of the wall shows signs of pitting and several phases of concrete repairs are visible.
