Description

This is a boundary stone located at Haves Hill in Thelbridge, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. Made of granite, the stone was originally upright but has since fallen to one side. It has a flat top and a triangular shape, with the angled sides projecting forward. The left side is inscribed with the Roman serif capitals spelling "WITHERIDGE," while the right side, which is now buried, presumably bears the name "THELBRIDGE."
