Description

Edgelake Bridge is a road bridge that spans the Little Dart River and was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared local rubble. The bridge features a single wide elliptical arch made of dressed stone voussoirs and dressed freestone keys. On either side of the carriageway, there are stone bases supporting iron railings, which have spear finials at intervals. The downstream side of the bridge has curving stone abutments.
