Description

The National Westminster Bank, located at No. 26 Broad Street in South Molton, was built around 1840 in the Italianate style. It is a three-storey structure made of ashlar stone and features a slate roof. The building has two tall chimneys with pots that are concealed by moulding, and it is adorned with a modillion eaves cornice and end quoins. The façade includes three sash windows that do not have glazing bars, each framed by moulded architraves with aprons and keystones. The ground floor is distinguished by a cornice and pilasters.
