Description
This chest tomb and its railings are located about 4 metres south of the doorway in the south aisle of the Church of the Holy Cross. Likely dating from the mid-19th century, the tomb is made of stone and has a rectangular shape with a plain lid. The lid features an inscription that is now illegible. Surrounding the tomb are tall iron railings, with urn finials at the corners. This tomb is one of several memorials in the churchyard, which, along with their railings, contribute significantly to the character of the Cruwys Morchard churchyard.
