Description

The stables, located approximately 7 meters southeast of Rashleigh Barton, are likely from the late 18th to early 19th century. They are constructed from rubble and topped with a slate roof. This single-storey stable block, which faces west, is gable-ended and is built onto the north end of the barn and cartshed. The front features two stable doors with a narrow slit window between them, as well as another similar window at each end. The roof is supported by A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. These stables are part of a group that includes Rashleigh Barton and the barn and cartshed.
