37 and 38 New Bridge Street are two similar buildings dating from the 17th to 18th century. They are timber framed and rendered, standing three storeys tall with an attic facing the street. Each building features a modern shop front and one modern window on each floor. The roofs are slate and have half hipped gables. These buildings, along with Nos 31 to 39, form a group.
