Description

These are two houses of 1715 on the south side of Monmouth Street, Topsham. They are built of stucco with rusticated quoins. The houses are two storeys high and have five windows each, with sash windows containing glazing bars. A Tuscan porch provides access to a pair of doors, each with a fanlight above. A coved cornice runs along the roofline. The roof is slate. Interior features include panelling in number 38 and a kitchen well in number 39. The buildings, along with others in Monmouth Street, form a notable group.
