Description

Tincombe House, located at 33 Monmouth Street in Topsham, is a building that likely dates from around 1700, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. It is a two-storey structure featuring a four-window stucco front. The windows are sash style, with flush frames and glazing bars. A wide Tuscan porch with a central pediment is present, although the door and side-lights appear to be new. The building retains some early 19th-century railings and features painted glass in the ground floor windows, which is likely of 17th-century Flemish origin. Additionally, there is a Sun Insurance plaque on the property. Tincombe House is part of a group of listed buildings on Monmouth Street.
