Description

No. 4 Cathedral Close is a building from the 17th century or earlier, constructed with a timber frame and featuring a rusticated stucco gabled front. It stands four storeys high and has one window, with bowed sash windows on the first and second floors, and glazing bars on all floors except the top one. The building includes a mid-19th century shop front. The roof is not visible. Inside, few original features remain, although some late 16th century panelling has been restored. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Cathedral Close.
