Description

The Gables is an early 19th-century house, altered subsequently. It is rendered and two storeys in height. A narrow, central gabled wing projects forward, featuring a rustic verandah. This wing is punctuated by three Tudor-arched tripartite casement windows. The front door has a four-centred arch, panelled reveals, and a fanlight above. The south end of the house is slate-hung, incorporating a square first-floor bay. The roof is covered with asbestos tiles. The building presents a picturesque appearance.
