Description

Midway Terrace comprises five pairs of early to mid-19th century stucco houses, set back behind gardens on the south side of Heavitree Road. Each house is two or three windows wide and has a hipped roof with wide eaves supported by brackets. The houses have trellis porches of varying designs. Nos. 144 to 156 have undergone considerable alterations, particularly to their ground floors. The doors are panelled, each with a rectangular light above. Nos. 138 to 256 (even) form a group.
