Description

Portland Lodge is an early 19th century, two-storey detached house of stucco construction, situated on Pennsylvania Road. The building is T-shaped in its plan. It has a low-pitched roof with wide eaves. The front facade is a symmetrical three-window design, with a trellis porch and canopy. Cast iron balconies are present above the first-floor windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and shutters. The roof is covered with slate and is hipped.
