Description

Rock House is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Cowick Lane. It is two storeys high with a roughcast front and features irregular modern windows. The building has a prominent wide 18th-century doorway that includes side-lights and a canopy supported by brackets, which seems to have had large Tuscan columns added for additional support. The corners of the building are accentuated with rusticated quoins, and it is topped with a slate roof that has hipped gables.
