Description

This is a terrace of ten early 19th century, three-storey stucco houses located on Old Tiverton Road. Numbers 21 to 30 form a group. Six of the houses, situated in the centre of the terrace, project slightly forward and feature a continuous iron balcony. Each of the end houses (numbers 21 and 30) have individual balconies. The doorways are round-headed and have lead fanlights; some are surrounded by moulded architraves. The front doors are attractive ten-panelled designs, with moulded and fielded panels. Numbers 23 to 26 have a floral motif incorporated into each panel, and the architraves to these doors share similar floral decoration. Number 30 has a six-panel door with panelled reveals and fanlight. The first-floor windows are French casements, while the other windows are largely sash windows with glazing bars. A cornice and parapet are present, and the roof is not visible.
