Description

This is a 17th century farmhouse, originally with a long, low front built at a right angle to Mount Pleasant Road. The building incorporates some cob walls and an old chimney. In the early 19th century, the front was altered to reflect a villa style, with later alterations following. A section at the rear is timber-framed and jettied. The house is two storeys high, featuring sash windows with glazing bars, and has a slate roof. It is of particular rarity value.
