Description
No. 150 on Fore Street is a Grade II listed building made of red brick and features pilasters. It stands three storeys tall and has a modern shop front with two windows. The first floor has 19th-century sash windows, while the second floor has sash windows with glazing bars. The building is topped with a cornice, a parapet, and a hipped slate roof. The elevation facing Friernhay Street is also red brick, three storeys high, with two windows and is dated 1762. It includes a patent stone doorway of a standard type, which dates back to around 1805. There is an early rear wing that is possibly timber-framed. Nos. 150 to 154 (consecutive) and 154A form a group.
