Description

This is an 18th-century building on Fore Street, rendered in appearance. It has a 19th-century shop front with a panelled door providing entrance through to the building. The main section has three storeys and three windows, with modern sash windows. A modillion cornice tops the building, and it is covered by a slate roof. A rear wing dates to the 17th century and is timber-framed, featuring some Georgian windows. The building is included on the heritage register for its group value alongside numbers 140 to 144 Fore Street.
