Description
There are two adjacent chest tombs located approximately 3.5 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St John. These tombs date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and are made of hamstone. Both tombs are rectangular in shape, featuring plain sides, moulded plinths, and flat lids with moulded edges. They are heavily overgrown with ivy, making any inscriptions unreadable. It is likely that these tombs were erected in memory of members of the Flood family, similar to the nearby headstones.
