Description

These gate piers, dating from the mid-19th century, are located approximately 2 metres south of Netherton Lodge. They are constructed from stuccoed brick with Beerstone detailing and serve as the entrance to a drive leading into Netherton Park. The gate piers are square in shape and feature channelled rustication. The tops of the piers are adorned with soffit-moulded caps and ball finials. Low stone rubble quadrant walls curve outward to smaller terminal piers on either side. The main piers support ornate wrought iron double gates.
