Description
Nos 163 and 165, known as the Globe Inn, and No 167 are early 19th century buildings with stucco fronts located on the north side of High Street. The Globe Inn is three storeys high and features a curved corner facing Dowell Street. It has two sash windows on each floor, all with glazing bars, and a blank centre panel on the first and second floors. There are entrances at the corner and one on the return. No 167 is two storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, along with a six-panel door topped by a fanlight. All buildings have slate roofs. Nos 163 to 167 form a group.
