Description

Alston Farmhouse is an 18th century farmhouse constructed from stone rubble with stone dressings. It features a concrete tile roof with gabled ends. The building has dressed stone quoins and window jambs, and it is two storeys high with a three-window range. The windows are two and three light casements on the ground floor, which have flat dressed stone arches with keyblocks. There is a central panelled door that is accompanied by a modern gabled porch. Brick chimney stacks are located over the gable ends.
