Description

The Helleman Considine chest tomb, dated 1856, is located approximately 10 metres north-west of the Church of All Saints in East Budleigh. This chest tomb is made of limestone and features a grey basalt lid. It has an unusually severe design, characterized by a flat, square-edged lid, slightly projecting square corner piers, and a plain, slightly projecting plinth. The lid is inscribed in plain capitals, commemorating the death of Daniel Helleman Considine.
