Description
Bowd Inn is a 17th-century restored cob house featuring a thatched roof and a half-dormer. The building has three three-light casement windows on the first floor and four windows on the ground floor, three of which are modern bow windows, while one is a 19th-century casement. A thatched porch has been added to the structure. There is an external chimney with offsets and a date tablet indicating the year 1657. Bowd Inn is part of a hamlet located on the north-west boundary of the urban district, alongside Bowd Cottage, Bowd Farmhouse, and the barn and yard wall of Bowd Farmhouse, which together form a group.
