Description

Sec Tor is a Tudor style house dated 1838, located in a small landscaped park. The building is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a low pitched slate roof with stone coped gable ends. It stands two storeys high and has a five-bay south-west front. The centre and right-hand sides have gabled projections adorned with pilasters that feature a key motif. Between these projections is a gabled porch with a Tudor arched doorway, which has a dripmould and displays the date 1838 in the spandrels. The windows are two and three-light mullion transom types, complete with glazing bars and dripmoulds. On the south-east garden front, there are three bays, with a central gabled projection that includes octagonal turrets and rendered octagonal chimney stacks set diagonally.
