Description

Crandons Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse, likely incorporating an earlier core. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble, with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The two-storey facade has a four-window arrangement of sash windows with glazing bars. A central plank door is protected by a modern gabled porch. Brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge. A later lean-to extension has been added to the rear. Inside, an open fireplace is notable for its moulded stone jamb, likely a reused feature.

Adjoining the farmhouse to the east is a circa 18th or 19th-century outbuilding, a single-storey range built of stone rubble with a corrugated iron roof. The outbuilding is L-shaped in plan. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
