Description
Garden walls and a summerhouse, located approximately 3 metres south-east of Cookshayes Farmhouse, were likely built around 1702. They are constructed from local stone and flint rubble, with Beerstone ashlar dressings used for the summerhouse. The garden features a rectangular terrace that is supported and enclosed by a stone wall, while the summerhouse, which has a square plan, projects at a 45-degree angle from the south-east corner. The summerhouse is roofless, and its outer corners are adorned with projecting ashlar quoins. The windows are framed with Beerstone ashlar surrounds, and the doorway opens from the garden.
