Description

The Iddols monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 13 meters north of the east buttress of the north aisle of the Church of St. Thomas. It dates from around 1845 and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features two rectangular plaques on each side, with a fielded center and angle piers, as well as a moulded base and cornice. The top stone is ridged, and there is an inscription dedicated to J. Iddols, who died in 1844.
